The Culturist Union (TCU) is a a multifunctional coffeehouse, community gathering spot, and inclusive marketplace that empowers creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Objective

With a timeline of one week, our task was to re-imagine the existing branding identity of TCU, by incorporating the coffeehouse, African-American heritage, community, and creatives.

Approach

Create a new visual identity by introducing a variable seal logo that champions the company’s values and designing merchandise packaging.

Logo

A variable seal logo was created for the Culturist Union, to represent the private membership-based club, and the “Union” of people it represents. It unifies different elements that are directly related to the business, but also elements that were close the the owner’s vision, creating an official seal.
